Zoop’s Rantings On Life…

Today I went shopping in Manchester, so I woke up at about nearly 9.00am because by the time we get ready it will be late as usual!!

Woke up with a sore right eye…shit!! Feel a bit ’shitty’. Nevertheless…the shopping must still go on….hehe.. Check the medicine drawer…no eye drops..shucks!! Well, never fear, we’ll just drop by the pharmarcy before we go to Manchester.

By the time we had breakfast, which is just plain toast with olive spread..hehe and juice, prepare food for Ian and his milk, bathe, it’s nearly 11.30am… Quickly packed ourselves in the MPV and off we go.

Dropped by the pharmarcy, darn!! long queue, never mind, queued up since my eye is still quite sore and red. Luckily they open up another till so no need to wait long.

By the time we reach Manchester, it was already 1pm. Yup, ‘coz I stopped by the service station and got a Mocha for DH as well.

So went to Slaters first, they sell office suits and clothes, we planned to get a few business casuals for DH for his new job. Only managed to get 2 pants.

Never mind, went to Debenhams, got him several shirts. We took a long time at Debenhams, ‘coz I have to wait for the lift, there was only one lift working and it was really, really slow. By that time it was nearly 4pm.

Walked back to the car, stopped at Marks & Spencers and bought some more pants..3. I was so tempted to go to Selfridges next door, where they have Gucci and Louis Vuitton..haha..but I got this ’stare’ from hubby that says, ‘ I think you are drowning in bags!’ Haha!!!…Never mind..before I go back to Malaysia, I will get one..hehe..

Then was browsing around, stopped at Carphone WareHouse and got 2 cheap mobile phones. One for MIL, her birthday on Saturday, she don’t have one and needed one, so got her a Nokia 2310 for £30. I got a Samsung E250 for my mum for £50.

So, we took all our purchases and put them in the MPV, ‘coz it was heavy on the buggy. Luckily we were parked at the centre of the shopping complexes because we have a disabled/handicapped badge so it was free parking … hehe.. didn’t have to walk too far.

Then I remembered that I have to go to the Hard Rock Cafe to get some t-shirts for my family and friends, so walked back again, wah, by then we were quite tired. Ian was good as gold, he always is… just a little hungry maybe.

So when we reach Hard Rock, I bought about 7 t-shirts, one for Ian, one for me and the rest are gifts when I go back. Really poor now..costs me £110!!!!!! just for the t-shirts! Hubby sulking..hehe..

Starving now, drove back, on the way back stopped at Asda to get some more goats milk, then went to eat Indian food at the Balti House.

We had starter for two and 2 drinks, one pilau rice and one cheese nan and one garlic nan with 2 different curries. I forgot to take the photograph, ‘coz it was late and I was tired.

But when the bill comes..wah!!! nearly £60!! Cannot eat out anymore, this week just eating out costs us almost £150.. So went home, reached at 9pm, bathe and feed Ian, put him to bed. He slept straight away.

Calculate my losses for the day…£600!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never mind..it’s for investment and the clothes are needed, I keep telling myself..

So now there’s a hole in my pocket..going to be a big one soon.. also not to forget, I didn’t take Ian to nursery today because he goes for half day only, but it is still chargeable, another £18 gone!

I better recoup my losses before my last day of work!! That means work extra nights!!! Never mind again.. it’s only 11 days to go..haha
