No Rest!!

Nowadays all I seem to do is work… that is why I feel so tired. I have so many things to do. Which can be a good thing though…in some ways. I am half-way through my course and also just started my driving lessons which is a drag….arghh… I have been looking for a new job as well.
Everything is going up, the price of fuel is the worse, there is strikes at the oil refinery so it affects the prices of fuel and everything else!! So, I have to be good and not go out nowadays… Other than that, I have been just tired… looking after Ian and also swamped with housework, housework and MORE housework!!
So weekends nowadays have been spent cleaning up the house and doing some spring cleaning. This week was clearing up Ian’s clothes. He has grown so much! Look at all his clothes!!
Anyway, I filled up 6 black bin bags full of his clothes. Put them in the box and up it goes in the loft! My loft is so full now!
So now, his wardrobe is clear…just very little clothes, which means I need to do some shopping for summer clothes…hehe….but I won’t be buying loads, because when I went through clothes that he has out-grown, there were a lot of them that still has tags on…..so that says it all..
As I was clearing upstairs, look at what the little monster is doing… He took his toybox. Pour all the toys out and sit in the box, took my throw and pillow and sit in the box and cover himself up….all sorts he would come up with.
I bought him the box and a chair from Ikea the other time. He loves them.
Then after all done upstairs, it’s hoovering and mopping the floors, changing bed sheets and wiping everywhere. I was tired at the end of the day.
So, put some curries bought from Tesco in the microwave and cook some rice to have with it. Chicken Korma with Naan Bread and rice for hubby and Chicken Jalfrezi with Naan Bread and rice for me….
My tummy did somersaults and flips just looking at the food there….
And Ian really does look comfy on that chair!

Eh that IKEA chair, William wanted to get it but is kinda expensive, it cost RM399 here.

Looking at all that curries makes me want to drive out to that Nasi Kandar Kayu down the road buy myself a pack of nasi kandar.
You know, i think the IKea in Malaysia dont sell that chair. They have this rocking chair somewhat like that but with a canvas sling behind it rather than a wooden back with cushion.

Saw that chair at Ikea during my last visit, was tempted to buy but no place to put…..looking at Ian sitting nicely there I am starting to get itchy hand….must sort out a place first!!

hahaha i too cleared the kids clothes yesterday and it was one full big laundry basket!! some of them like worn 2 - 3 times only! hope to pass down to a nephew & niece…if not…wasted lerr….

I do hope that your husband helps u with the housework or looking after Ian. Poor you Sue, u must be so exhausted, i know how it feels babe, hang in there what to do, we dont hv family nearby to help us, everything hv to do on our own. Hope u’ll get some rest on your next day off, hope u hv one of those too ; ) Take care ok, big hugs.

I have the same problem wt Mishu clothes and shoes too.She grown up so fast and all her clothes and shoes can’t even fit her anymore.Look more like cartoon!lol!!.Wish my hubby can take curry chicken!!
