New Job

DH is starting his new job next Monday. I have tendered my resignation, so have 14 days to go..last day is 14th August. DH tendered his resignation the same day as me, on the 1st August.
His ex-boss told him he can go off on the same day, he has been working for that company for 8.5 years!!!! So he gets his salary for the month of August and he also gets paid from his new job as well starting from 1st August. He is quite excited about his new job which is about 18 miles away from home, that’s about 30 minutes drive or less on a good day. Mmm…more £££££ for me to spend..hehe..
So we went out to eat last night and tonight, and tomorrow will go shopping at Manchester. Then on Saturday is MIL’s birthday, then I’m back to work on Sunday. That leaves me with about a week to go. Can’t wait..
