My Poor Baby..

Ian has been down with fever since last night. I can’t take him to the doctor’s because they don’t open during week unless it’s the hospital emergency services. No, thank you, we could end up waiting for hours.

So, I will wait for Monday. In the meantime it’s Calpol/paracetamol and Nurofen/Ibuprofen for him. Poor baby, he was drowsy the whole day, crying in pain. I suspect it’s tonsillitis, white spots at the back of his throat and etc…the usual stuff that he gets.

Even right now, he is still awake at 1030pm and just lying on the sofa. He didn’t want to go upstairs. So, looks like it’s camping in the living room tonight for us! Hope that he gets better tomorrow, but I doubt it. He needs his antibiotics! Just keeping my fingers crossed that he won’t get any worse…

I’ve heard the only thing worse than a sick child is the parent who is watching over the precious darling and would do anything to take away the pain but can’t do so fast enough. I hope he gets well soon.

Poor little feller. You can see he doesn’t feel well. I hope he gets better soon. I don’t blame you about wanting to skip the ER. The wait times are so long.
