Mommy I Want???!!

Everytime whenever we take Ian to Toys ‘R’ Us, he will go to the car section and sit/play with the cars for nearly half an hour…haha. I let him because it’s free…hehehe.

But I was quite tempted to buy him one of the big battery-operated cars which is less than £100. I didn’t though because we don’t have the space at home and I think it would be better to spend it on other things than the car. He actually liked the Lightning McQueen from “Cars” animation. But that is like around £129.90!

Anyway, he liked this Thomas train set with the table very much. I looked for a price tag but couldn’t find one and asked the lady there, she didn’t know. Lousy!

So I Googled online and found it…guess how much…….£170 plus for just the table!! And then the whole set comes to about nearly £200!! Altogether near to £400!!!

So I guess he will not be getting it…I was thinking of getting it for his birthday next week on the 15th. But I don’t think so, will save it for his airline ticket back to Malaysia..haha… I still don’t know what to buy him for his birthday, probably nothing I guess, he’s got so much toys already…so we’ll see..

    Hi Sue
Toys these days are so expensive! And then your child plays with it for awhile and leave it, aiyah not worth spending so much for toys anymore. I usually wait for the summer or winter sales to get toys for Nora. Hope the weathers better there, here its been raining for almost an entire week!

Hi, Sue. I got the wooden train set from Ikea. (May be London have Ikea?) very cheap only. Oh, no big big toy in the house please. My aunt gave me a “manually” operated car, Yang is going to 3 still fit to the car so you can imagine how big the car. I have to move the furniture till to the wall and “make” space for him to play. So my house always look very messy!!! Like a play ground more than a house! LOL
Agree to Mush, usually Chrismax sale toys very cheap.

I don’t like taking kids to toy stores.
Though at times it can be fun if the kid understand this is to play only and not take home.
