I was suppose to write about this trip 2 weeks ago, but I have been busy with stuff. Anyway, we went to Liverpool on a Saturday with my MIL to visit hubby’s godfather, Colin. He is a retired GP. He lives in this huge beautiful old Victorian mansion in the outskirts of Liverpool by the river.

It is a double storey Victorian house and he lives on the top floor alone, but it is massive. There’s a huge bathroom and toilet, recently renovated, a reception room, dining room, massive kitchen and 4 double bedrooms!!! All this for one person!!

By the way, he doesn’t have a TV at home. There is also a huge garden in front..Boy would I love to live there but I don’t fancy the maintenance of the place..need to have loads of £££. I was told that when he bought it many moons ago, it was at £30k….now it is worth over £2 million!!

Anyway, this housing area has its own private access road. I didn’t take many photos because my camera was acting up, one minute working, one minute not…so I have to make do with it for now. I just took the side view of Colin’s place and the houses around there and the river front. All the houses there are mansions..not houses…hehe..

That’s the river…looks like the sea ..it was nice.. just like Gurney Drive in Penang except that this is private….not really for public… and it was really windy…but lovely.

By the way, Uncle Colin is a very good cook, he made us Vegetable Moussaka and Fruit Flan for lunch..delicious!!! Ian was all over the place and he loved especially Uncle Colin’s piano..I was afraid he would spoil it…it’s old..he was banging on it..haha.

I was tired at the end of the day, chasing after Ian..well, so was he..it was a good day out..all in all.

   WOW! 2 MILLIONS!!!! Goodness! The house price in UK is just crazy!!! It seems like you had a wonderful day..

   that river, the mansion, the driveway..can it be any nicer?
   you can spend every weekend there, foc.
   godfather happy to have company, everyone happy.haha.

   wow is a lovely house I wish I win the lotty this comming sat then I can have one .
   I can see the little one is enjoy himself and very tire too after a long day .
