Zoop’s Rantings On Life…

First of all, I have been busy lazy with things. I have bought my tickets back…yippeee!!! And it’s for 10 WEEKS!!!

I was going to get an earlier date back but it was like an extra£150, so I chose the cheaper one. Luckily, my manager approved my holidays, but half of it is unpaid :(.

Never mind, I need to go back anyway. Why? It’s because I want to let Ian spend some time with my parents since this is the last year I can go back for soooo long!

He officially starts reception class in proper school/ primary school in September!!! Yes, my baby has all grown up!!

Anyway, you cannot be absent from school for like 2 months. If you want, you need to apply to the school and see if they will approve it!

If not, you can get in a lot of trouble! What nonsense!!

Sigh! And usually they won’t approve the holidays for so long during school term-time (that’s when the tickets are cheap!) is because it will affect the child’s studies and also MOSTLY because of their statistics!!

It will affect their school performance report when compared with other schools!! What a load of bull/crap!!

Secondly, I SACRIFICED my Chinese New Year holidays to go back in March instead of February, because one of my best friend; she  is getting married! Congrats babe!!

It’s also because the tickets are much, much cheaper like a couple of hundred pounds to buy than during Chinese New Year period!!

So, I have been shopping carefully…and cleaning the house half-heartedly…hehe….and also working….hence the lack of blog posting and entrecard droppings.

Before I go, I would like to share something with my readers here…it’s funny but true.. I admit it.. lol…..my hubby sent it to me..cheeky!! A good tutorial for men!! LOL!!

Nine Words Women Use

1) “Fine” - This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up!

2) “Five Minutes”- If she is getting dressed, this means half an hour. Five minutes is only half minutesif you have just been given five more    minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

3) “Nothing” - This is the calm before the storm. This is SOMETHING and you should be on your toes! Arguments that begins with nothing usually ends up with “fine”(No. 1)!

4) “Go Ahead” - This is a DARE, NOT permission! Don’t do it!!!

5) “Loud Sigh” - This is actually a word, a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about “nothing”(refers to No. 3).

6) “That’s OK” - This is ONE of the most DANGEROUS statement a woman can make to a man. That’s OK means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake!

7) “Whatever” - Is a woman’s way of saying “F**k you!”

8 ) “Thanks” - A woman is thanking you, do NOT question or faint! Just say you’re welcome. (* I want to add a clause here - This is true unless she says “THANKS A LOT!”  - then it is pure SARCASM and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say ” You’re welcome”…….that will bring on a “whatever” ( refers to No. 7)

9) “Don’t worry about it, I got it” - Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking “What’s wrong?” For the woman’s response, refer to No. 3!

This is for all the men to warn them about arguments they can avoid  if they remember the terminology and for the women to have a good laugh because we know it’s true….
