Hubby’s Belated Birthday

We celebrated a low-key birthday as usual for hubby together with my MIL last weekend. I volunteered to cook for him instead of my MIL.

But after volunteering, I fall sick…hahaha…luckily I recover in time to cook for him. I cooked the main meal while MIL cooked the dessert; fruit trifle and baked the birthday cake.

Anyway, I bought lamb in blackcurrantĀ  and rosemary sauce from Waitrose and then stuff it in the oven.

Hehe….I know, lazy eh…then I add some roast potatoes and some asparagus to it and voila! Meal ready..

Didn’t give him anything for his birthday….well lots of hugs and kisses and the meal…hehe. Besides it all comes out from the same pot so, don’t have waste money!

Ok, people should really be banned from putting up gorgeous pictures of food on blogs … it’s really not right making people drool.
