Halloween and Fireworks..

This Halloween I didn’t do anything, but Ian had lots of fun. As he goes to nursery on a Friday so he was swimming in the morning at school and then he had a Halloween party in the late afternoon. They had games, dancing and party. Too bad, we can’t take photos because of the Child Protection Act…so what a shame! But he loved it..he was really tired after school..and slept through the night.
He went as Spiderman. Bought the costume for him…for £20!! He’s just gonna wear it once!! Should have bought a cheaper one, but never mind..I can always sell it as it is still new…so not much loss there.. The costume is reversible, just like in Spiderman 3. He can be a black Spiderman or the normal one..hehe.
Then on Saturday, took him to see the fireworks at the local park here. It was £5 per adult and £2.50 for child. It was really not that good. But seems that it was Ian’s 2nd time, the first time was when he was just less than a year old. He loved it, watching the fireworks and small bonfire.
But we had to stand there in the cold for like one and a half hour. The fireworks was only like 15 to 20 minutes. Then it was over.
We had to wait for the bonfire to finish burning which took a very long time.
Because they have the Health and Safety rule here where if there is even a small spot of fire left, they have to wait till it is all put out. I basically think the Health and Safety rule here sucks! Pathetic! All kinds of excuses…
But all that matters is Ian, he was entertained by his light saber that I bought for £4 at the entrance of the park and enjoyed the fireworks.

By the way, can I just ask what’s that bonfire? Why did you need to wait till it’s completely burn out before going off?
In Malaysia, Halloween is just like another day. I guess you know. haha! Didn’t do anything much though since it’s not a holiday.
