Danny & Su Yin’s Wedding

I was going to post this when I was in Penang but did not have the time. Anyway, just wants to CONGRATULATE both of them again! Congrats Danny and Su Yin!
By the way, the wedding was held at the Equatorial Hotel Penang.
Didn’t take much photos though. It was great to meet up with some of my ex-schoolmates, though, not too many as I have hoped….but never mind..Better than nothing..haha..
Oh yes, the band that was hired was real bad!! Steel Guitars, it’s called…out of tune and all sorts. We were seated at table nearest to the stage and at the end of the day, we were half-deaf. It was just like going to the disco except that disco is probably better..jeez…the singing was bad 90% of it. We were so glad once it was over…. Food was alright..not bad actually, a lot of left overs. But the party favour was quite nice…a pair of chopsticks with table mat. Overall it was a very slow and steady night..would have loved having all my good friends there….Annette, Lisa and Melinda…but I guess just you would do Errol! Haha!
Also, it was good having your company for the night as well John L! Never knew you were such a gentlemen when you were in school!Hehe!
Steel Guitar was like a very popular wedding band in Penang. Jus that they have quite a lot of singers. Some of them are really great and some are terrible. There was a guy sound just like Louis Armstrong…

Anyway there is another popular band called Chakora (i think). We had them for our annual dinner and Alvin had them for his wedding.
uhm…. steel guitar should be nice band. I use steel guitar on my wedding with full band. I think they have 3 package for the band. i forgot what was the package. like joze foo say they are very popular in Pg. the guy sound like louis armstrong was singing on my wedding. forgot their name
